Kamala Harris's Fitness for Office?

In truth, fair reader, I must now address
A subject most delicate, with finesse.

The lady Kamala, of vice regal station,
Doth sit as second in our nation.

Yet questions rise, from corners dark and deep,
Of fitness for the office she doth seek.

With visage fair, and words both sharp and keen,
She wields her rhetoric like a polished sheen.

Yet underneath this mask, do doubts arise,
As wisdom's depth we seek in leaders' eyes.

The tempest of ambition, bold and bright,
May blind her to the burdens of the night.

For in that office high, a weight doth rest,
Upon the shoulders of the truly blessed.

'Tis not mere speech that steers the ship of state,
But judgment sound, and calm, in every fate.

The winds of change, the storms of fate and war,
Require a helm with strength and knowledge more.

Her tenure brief in halls of power grand,
Leaves some to wonder if she truly can
Withstand the pressures, and the trials severe,
That come with guiding through the fog and fear.

For leadership requires a steadfast heart,
Not swayed by flattery or rhetoric's art.

So as we look upon the coming days,
And ponder who shall lead in varied ways,
Let reason guide, and wisdom be our star,
As we decide who truly fit doth are.

For in this choice, our future we do bind,
To those who hold the fate of humankind.
