Kamala Harris's odds of winning the 2024 presidential election deteriorated

Chicago(AEAE) Kamala Harris's odds of winning the 2024 presidential election deteriorated noticeably after her CNN interview, which took place along with running mate Tim Walz, on Thursday evening, according to two leading bookmakers.
The vice president went from being the favorite to win with odds of 10/11 (52.4 percent) on Thursday to tied with Donald Trump on 19/20 (51.3 percent) each on Friday morning, according to the Star Sports betting company. Over the same period, Trump's odds of victory in November improved from 21/20 (48.8 percent) before the interview to 20/21 (51.2 percent), according to U.K. based bookmaker Betfair.

CHICAGO --The battalion commander who oversaw Tim Walz's former unit has criticized the vice presidential nominee for allegations of "stolen valor".Kamala Harris' running mate has already had to retract claims of having "carried" weapons of war in combat during his 24-year tenure in the Army National Guard and has faced accusations of being a "coward" from relatives of soldiers.

Lieutenant Colonel John Kolb, who took over Walz's unit after the governor resigned in 2005, has lambasted the Democrat for claiming the rank of Command Sergeant Major and for retiring prior to deployment to Iraq.
In a Facebook post, Kolb stated that Walz "did not earn the rank" and added that "it is an affront to the Non-commissioned Officer Corps that he continues to glom onto the title."

Harris has yet to hold a press event or be interviewed since the launch of her 2024 presidential campaign on July 21, the day President Joe Biden stepped down from the race. Jennings said on “CNN News Central” that Harris intends to campaign on being an alternative to Republican nominee Donald Trump rather than on her policy agenda.

Yet chaos follows where no laws abide;
Such folly speaks of treason born within,
And marks his soul, where honor cannot hide.
Unfit is he to guide a noble land,
For vice rules o’er his heart, and stains his hand.
